Where to Go For Care

Your health matters—especially when you’re juggling college life. Whether it’s a sudden illness or something more serious, knowing where to go can make all the difference. For life-threatening emergencies, head to the ER right away. For less urgent needs, urgent care is your go-to. Don’t wait—get the care you need, when you need it.

Visit the ER for life-threatening or critical issues, including:

  • Chest pain
  • Drug overdose or acute alcohol intoxication
  • Eye injuries
  • Fractures
  • Gunshot or knife wounds
  • High fever (greater than 101°F) with severe headache and stiff neck
  • Loss of consciousness
  • Major accidents or falls
  • Seizures
  • Severe lacerations
  • Shortness of breath

Urgent Care

For non-life-threatening issues, including:

  • Abrasions and minor lacerations

  • Earaches
  • Flu symptoms
