JANESVILLE, Wis. – Marian University women’s golf had rounds of 370 and 347 to finish ninth at the UW-Whitewater Spring Fling.

  • Yinan Lu led the way for Marian carding rounds of 88 and 83 to finish in a tie for 28th.
  • Olivia Schueller opened with an 89 and 91 to tie for 48th.
  • Katelyn Bucciarelli improved by three strokes between rounds finishing with a 92 and 89 to tie for 54th.
  • Kayla Gray had the largest improvement for Marian going 101 and 84, the second-lowest round of any Sabre, to take 63rd.
  • Trinity Knudtson rounded out the Marian lineup with a 113 and 107.
  • Marian finished second among NACC schools trailing only Aurora.
  • Illinois Wesleyan won the event after rounds of 317 and 311, while Abbey Filipak of UW-Stout earned medalist recognition with rounds of 78 and 75.
