RSVP to Graduation events by April 1
Marian University maintains a wristband policy for its outdoor commencement ceremony. Guests will require a wristband to enter the tent, which opens at 11:30 a.m. Wristbands will be provided in the graduate’s graduation packet. Guests requiring handicapped seating will receive a different color wristband in addition to a ticket for the handicap area in the tent. Guests without wristbands are invited to bring lawn chairs; however, note that in the event of rain, the tent flaps will be down. In this case, or for those who simply prefer a temperature-controlled environment, guests without wristbands can watch a live stream of the ceremony in the Dr. Richard and Leslie Ridenour Science Center. The live ceremony can also be viewed online via a link that will appear on the Marian webpage, www.marianuniversity.edu, on commencement day.
The deadline for ordering academic regalia is March 20 if you will pick it up at the April 22 Countdown to Commencement, or April 14 if you will be having your regalia shipped to your home. Please order your regalia via the following link: https://collegegrad.herffjones.com. Doctoral students, however, should order their regalia directly from the Marian University Bookstore.
Regalia not picked up at Countdown to Commencement may be picked up at the Marian University Bookstore after April 22 if home shipping has not been selected. If you have questions, please contact the Marian University Bookstore at 920.923.7166.
