Qualify for FNP certification with a hybrid post-graduate certificate program.

Marian University developed their hybrid online/on-campus Post-Graduate Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate to meet the needs of a growing profession and the 2008 Consensus Model for APRN Regulation. The Post-Graduate Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate (PGFNP) is available to registered nurses holding a master’s in nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) who desire to continue their education and develop their competencies as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Students who complete the program requirements are awarded a post-graduate certificate and are eligible to apply for national FNP certification through either the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB).
