Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science

Help athletes achieve greatness with a BS in Exercise and Sport Science.

The Marian University Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science program goes beyond the in-game action of athletics by providing in-depth exposure to the scientific basis of physical activity, exercise, and sport. The program is more than just about weights and workouts: we connect students to a growing field with a vast range of career options related to fitness, health, and wellness.

Our BS in Exercise and Sport Science program allows students to engage in multiple professional development activities beginning in their freshman year, helping them identify and prepare for their desired career. Those in the program connect with current professionals in their first year. Students then advance to shadow them in their workplace. This culminates with a practicum in a setting of the student’s choice during their senior year. Throughout the program, students receive hands-on training and are taught how to think critically about fitness and wellness.
