University of Wisconsin System Schools
Students who receive an Associate of Arts and Science degree from any of the University of Wisconsin System Schools will have completed all Marian University General Education requirements, except Theology. This requirement may be fulfilled by taking THE 101: Introduction to Christian Theology, 3 cr., at Marian University. Students must meet all other specified proficiency, school, or program requirements. Students are responsible for meeting all residency and general baccalaureate degree requirements.
Wisconsin Technical College System
Students who receive an Associate degree from any of the Wisconsin Technical College System institutions will have fulfilled all of their Marian University General Education requirements, except Theology. This requirement may be fulfilled by taking THE 101: Introduction to Christian Theology, 3 cr., at Marian University. Students must meet all specified proficiency, department, or program requirements. Students are responsible for meeting all residency and general baccalaureate degree requirements.
Students with previously earned Bachelor’s Degrees
Students who have received a bachelor’s degree from a regionally or nationally accredited institution requiring at least 30 general education credits will have completed all Marian University General Education requirements. Students must meet all specified proficiency, department, or program requirements. Students are responsible for meeting all residency and general baccalaureate degree requirements.
Wisconsin Association of Independent Colleges and Universities (WAICU) Course Credit Transfer Agreement (CCTA) with Wisconsin’s Technical Colleges (WTCS)
To assist Wisconsin Technical College students in furthering their academic and career goals, Marian University participates in a course-to-course agreement with Wisconsin’s 16 Technical Colleges. The WAICU-WTCS Course Credit Transfer Agreement is designed to ensure a smooth transfer process for WTCS students who wish to pursue a degree at Marian University. The fourteen courses in the agreement will satisfy general education or general degree requirements when applicable. Students are responsible for confirming that these courses transfer to their intended major by working with their academic advisor.
Northeast Iowa Community College – Rad Tech Program Grads
Students who receive an Associate of Applied Science in Radiologic Technology from Northeast Iowa Community College and who have earned their ARRT certification have fulfilled all pre-requisites for Marian’s online BS in Radiologic Technology program. NICC alums who meet these criteria are eligible for a 10% discount on tuition costs. Students are required to fulfill all General Education Liberal Arts Common Core courses through equivalent course transfers or by taking the appropriate courses at Marian University.
