Nursing Pinning Ceremony

Information regarding this ceremony will be conveyed to Nursing graduates directly by the Nursing program.

Teacher Commissioning Ceremony

Information regarding this ceremony will be conveyed to undergraduate Education students who have earned initial teaching licenses, and graduate students who have completed the Teacher Education or the Special Education program.

Sadoff Gymnasium, Marian University Campus

The big event! Each graduate will receive their diploma from President Majewski. A professional photographer will capture the moment and another photo will be taken of each graduate with their diploma.

*Please note that wristbands will be required for guests to enter the stadium. See below for further details.

Wristband Policy

Marian University maintains a wristband policy for its commencement ceremonies. Guests will need a wristband to enter the gymnasium. These will be provided in the graduates’ graduation packets. Guests requiring handicapped seating will receive a different color wristband in addition to a ticket for the handicap area. Guests without wristbands are invited to the Dr. Richard and Leslie Ridenour Science Center where a live stream of the ceremony will be shown. The live ceremony can also be viewed online via a link that appears on our Home Page on commencement day.

Academic Regalia

The deadline for ordering academic regalia is November 1 if you will pick it up from the Spirit Store on campus on or after December 1; or November 15 if you will be having your regalia shipped to your home (for a fee).
