A time to recognize those becoming Marian alumni

Wristband Policy

Marian University maintains a wristband policy for its outdoor commencement ceremony. Guests will require a wristband to enter the stadium, which opens one hour before the ceremony. Due to State and County guidelines, social distancing will be in effect and graduates will only be able to receive two (2) wristbands initially. Wristbands will be provided in the graduate’s graduation packet. Guests requiring handicapped seating will receive a different color wristband in addition to a ticket for the handicap area in the stadium. Guests without wristbands are invited to bring lawn chairs and sit around the perimeter of the baseball field in a socially distanced manner. For those who prefer a temperature-controlled environment, guests without wristbands can watch a live stream of the ceremony in the Dr. Richard and Leslie Ridenour Science Center. The live ceremony can also be viewed online via a link that will appear on the Marian webpage,, on commencement day.
