Meet the team
Director of Residence Life
Residence Hall Director (Naber Hall and Duplexes)
Michayla Braun is the current Residence Hall Director for Naber Hall and Duplexes. She is a Marian University alumna, where she graduated in 2014 with a B.S. in Mathematics. The friendly and accepting atmosphere made Marian feel like home, which is why she chose to come back as a Hall Director. Michayla has a passion for helping others feel safe and accepted for who they are. She hopes to encourage others to grow into better versions of themselves by sharing her own experiences and hearing others’ stories well. Michayla enjoys good conversations, and when people choose her to laugh and cry with. She hopes that others are able to find home at Marian the same way that she did.“
Residence Hall Director (Courtyards)
Some would call her a Friends fanatic and a lover of Labradors. She enjoys helping others and has served the Milwaukee Rescue Mission in several capacities. Some hobbies include reading, visiting Lakeside Park, coloring and bow-fishing.
In 2013, Kirsten earned a bachelor of arts degree and a certificate in peacebuilding from Mount Mary University, where she majored in communication. Immediately following Kirsten’s undergraduate education, she attended Concordia University Wisconsin and earned her Master of Science degree in Student Personnel Administration in 2015. Through her master’s program, Kirsten gained experience as a Student Involvement Coordinator and Advisor of the Dance Marathon student organization at UW-Milwaukee.
Kirsten Rebholz is currently the Residence Hall Director for Courtyards. She advises the Residence Hall Association and teaches GEN 101. It is Kirsten’s mission, in her multiple roles at Marian, to continue to learn and provide development opportunities for each student she connects with.
