One of the most important factors of a great education is feeling safe in one’s learning environment. The entire campus community is responsible for a successful security system, and Marian takes a number of steps to ensure the safety of our students, faculty, staff and guests:
- The Marian One-Stop is open 6 a.m. to midnight with varing hours during breaks and holidays, and is in constant communication with Campus Safety.
- Lighting throughout campus provides prominent lighting at night, and numerous security poles are placed throughout campus for emergency and alert purposes.
- Student workers in Naber Hall monitor traffic from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m., and campus safety officers patrol the campus area 24 hours a day.
