Inspired by wider knowledge of the world, the School of Arts & Sciences is committed to the unending quest of deeper insight into the world of arts, sciences and public safety. Working to develop and nourish the rational, affective and spiritual dimensions of the whole person, students in the School of Arts & Sciences receive a wide knowledge of the liberal arts, while also taking on practical internship, clinical or research experiences in their area of study that provide development in the areas of critical thinking, problem solving and effective communication in preparation for entrance into the workforce or for graduate studies.
Undergraduate
Inspired to explore a variety of disciplines, students in the School of Arts and Sciences take a values-based approach to the liberal arts, working to cultivate interpersonal, expressive and interactive abilities, all while receiving a broad knowledge of the sciences. Whether choosing a major in the arts, public safety or through one of the sciences, students will broaden their perspective on the world, and heighten their appreciation of innovation and global community.

Graduate/Adult
Inspired by a foundation of knowledge in the liberal arts, graduate and adult students at Marian University will take part in a curriculum that is focused on educating the whole person, both through in-class experiences and hands-on opportunities outside of the classroom. Working alongside a caring and supportive faculty and staff, students in the School of Arts & Sciences are invested in their research, and are committed to educating and serving the community.
