Our online programs feature courses that are intentionally designed with the adult student in mind. Whether you take all online courses, or mix online and face-to-face formats, you receive the same inspired Marian University experience.

Federal and state regulations require that all institutions of higher education comply with existing state laws affecting the delivery of distance education (online and correspondence) degrees, programs and courses. These regulations may limit Marian University’s ability to offer distance education opportunities to students whose physical presence is in a state other than Wisconsin.

Marian University has been approved by Wisconsin to participate in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements. NC-SARA is a voluntary, regional approach to state oversight of postsecondary distance education.

In compliance with § 668.43 (b) Institutional Information, Marian University is required to provide current and prospective students with information for filing complaints. Please visit the Distance Education Student Complaint Process page for more details.

States not currently participating in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement are listed below with their current authorization status.
