Who Is An Outreach Student?
Outreach students are enrolled in courses or programs where all of their classes are held at one of Marian University’s outreach sites (i.e. Appleton, West Allis, etc.), or all of their courses are online.
Resources And Services Available To Outreach Students:
Outreach students have access to the same resources and services as on-campus students. The library has an extensive and diverse collection of print and electronic resources. These resources and services can be accessed from the library website.
To use library resources you must have Internet access and a Marian University ID.
If you are an AGS (Adult and Graduate Studies) student and have not received a Marian University ID, call or email the library.

Access from off-campus to most resources (i.e., Databases, e-Books, WorldCat, etc.) requires a login. Instructions on how to log in from off campus are available on the library’s Off-Campus Access page.
Checking Out Books From Cardinal Meyer Library From Outreach Or Off-Campus Locations:
If you wish to check out a book that is available from Cardinal Meyer Library, submit an Interlibrary Loan Book Request form. Please allow enough time in your research process to receive materials that may take, on average, 5 days to arrive.
Books not available from Cardinal Meyer Library may also be requested by submitting an Interlibrary Loan Book Request form. These requests will be referred to another library and may take, on average, 14 days to arrive.
Books will either be mailed to your home, or, if it is faster, we can send them to the outreach site where you attend class. There is no charge for mailing the book to your home. However, outreach students are responsible for returning books insured via US mail or UPS.
Book Renewal And Monitoring Due Dates From Off-Campus:
A due date slip will accompany your books. To avoid a library fine, return books by the due date. If you lose this information, you can check your library record by clicking on the My Library Record from the SabreCat page.
Most circulating books can be renewed by clicking on the My Library Record link from SabreCat. To avoid fines, renew books before their due dates.
