HARTFORD, Wis. – Marian University women’s golf traveled to Washington County Golf Course and had a good showing at the Wisconsin Lutheran Triangular.
Concordia Wisconsin won the triangular with a team score of 423, while Ellyn Mortell of the host WLC took home the individual title with an 86.
Junior Tayler Wise led the Way for the Sabres falling just three shots off the pace of Mortell. Senior Taylor Lockhart finished in sixth place for the Sabres shooting a 110 and junior Allison Grosenick closed out the Sabres just one shot behind Lockhart with a 111, good for a seventh place tie.
Marian next hosts their only meet of the season Sept. 16-17 at Whispering Springs.
