MILWAUKEE – Junior Derek Wills and senior Cam Muller of Marian University men’s volleyball have each been named All-NACC Second Team, as announced by the league Thursday.

Wills (Dubuque, Iowa) earns all-conference recognition for the third time in as many seasons. He finished the season as the top attacker for the Sabres and earned two NACC Player of the Week awards during the year. Wills finished the regular season fifth in the NACC with 3.17 kills per set and seventh in the conference with 3.60 points per set. He had double-digit kills in 12 matches this season and saved his best performances of the season for the final two matches recording 20 kills against Benedictine and 21 kills against Illinois Tech. He also had double-digit digs in four matches this season with three double-doubles. Through three seasons, Wills is third on the all-time kills list with 787 and points list at 910.0. He is also fifth all-time for service aces with 62.

Muller (Elgin, Ill.) earns his second all-conference award with his second team selection being his highest honor. He had his best season in terms of kills, kills per set, service aces, and solo blocks. Muller ranked sixth in the NACC with 3.67 points per set and was eighth in the conference averaging 2.89 kills per set. His 34 aces from the service line tied a single-season Marian record and his 0.4 service aces per set average was fourth in the NACC. Muller had double-digit kills in 14 matches opening the season with a 21-kill performance at Trine. He had double-digit digs in a pair of matches with both performances accounting or his two double-doubles. At the service line, he had at least three aces in five matches. In the all-time records, he is currently fifth for kills, sixth for service aces and points, and seventh for total blocks.
