Terrian slugs way to NACC Position Player of the Week award

WAUKESHA, Wis. – Senior Sara Terrian of Marian University softball has been named the NACC Position Player of the Week announced the league offices Monday.

Terrian (Waterford, Wisconsin) led the Sabres offensively as they went 9-1 at the Gene Cusic Classic. The senior catcher hit a team-high .448 for the week and had a .621 slugging percentage while driving in eight runs. She recorded at least one hit in seven of the 10 games during the week and also had at least one RBI in seven games. Terrian struck out just one time in her 29 at bats scoring seven runs and recording five extra base hits. Defensively, she posted a perfect fielding percentage in her 57 chances; 55 putouts and two assists.

Marian is next in action when they open NACC play with a noon doubleheader at MSOE Saturday, April 1.
