In total, 16 student-athletes were named All-MCVL with Carthage and Dominican leading the way with both teams having four student-athletes named All-MCVL.
Liberski (Germantown, Wis.) finished the regular season ranked second in the nation, atop the MCVL, with a 3.80 digs per set average. The Sabre libero recorded double-digit digs in all but five matches in the season and eclipsed 20 digs four times including a season-high 23 digs in a four-set win over Wittenberg. Liberski was named MCVL Defensive Player of the Week honors twice during the season.
Smallpage (Whitefish Bay, Wis.) led the Sabre attack once again this season averaging a team-high 3.66 kills per set and totaling 403.0 points. The sophomore outside hitter recorded double-digit kills in all but nine matches with a season-high 27 kills in a five-set road loss to Fontbonne. Outside of his offensive production Smallpage ranked fourth on the team with 130 digs and was second on the squad with 56 total blocks; eight solo, 48 assisted. From the service line, Smallpage also lead the Sabres with 23 service aces.
