Schiekiera earns CCIW Bowler of the Week honors

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Brenna Schiekiera of Marian University women’s bowling has been named the CCIW Bowler of the Week after leading the Sabres to an eighth-place finish at the Valpo Bowling Classic.

Schiekiera led the Sabres finishing ninth place on the individual leaderboard after averaging 190.8 pins over five games.  She was able to eclipse 200 twice in those five games finishing with her best of 205 in the final game.  In her Baker matches, Schiekiera had a fill percentage of 82-percent, with an overall strike percentage of 45-percent.

Marian next heads to Rolling Thunder Lanes in Neenah, Wis. for the Titan Invitational Nov. 6-7.
