Santy selected as Marian University’s Teacher of the Month

FOND DU LAC, Wis. – Kaleb Santy, an agriculture teacher at Pulaski High School, was selected as Marian University’s November Teacher of the Month.

A native of the Pulaski area, Santy teaches agriculture and biology courses, and serves as the FFA advisor. In addition, Santy volunteers as a certified DNR instructor for snowmobile safety, hunter safety, trapper education, boat safety and ATV safety, as well as serves as a mentor through the National Wild Turkey Federation and the Green Bay Chapter of the Wisconsin Waterfowl Association. Santy earned his bachelor of science in agricultural education with a minor in biology education from the University of Wisconsin – River Falls.

The Teacher of the Month contest, presented by Marian University and WIXX, highlights one area teacher each month. Marian University presents each recipient with a complimentary gift certificate valid for a one credit graduate level professional development course worth $250. In addition, each Teacher of the Month recipient will receive a wine gift basket from Forgotten Fire Winery or Falling Waters Winery; a $100 gift certificate from the Day Spa; a $100 gift certificate from School House; a 100 wing party from The Bar, Hagemeister Park or Graystone Ale House; apparel from Marian University; and a cake from Festival Foods for the teacher’s lounge. 

Deserving teachers may be nominated by visiting Marian University will select one teacher at the end of each month.
