JANESVILLE, Wis. – Marian University women’s golf shot a 399 and a 411 to finish in 13th at the UW-Whitewater Spring Invite.
The Sabres were led by Ashley Graves who bounced back from a 102 in the first round to shoot a 94 in the second round, the lowest single-round for Marian at the invite. Amber Debolt then shot a 99 and 103 to finish at 202, while Lilly Accola shot a 102 in each round to finish at 204. Sarah Lach had the lowest score in the first round for Marian at 96 and then shot a 112 in the second round to close out the Sabre lineup.
UW-Whitewater won the event with a 322 followed by a 312, and Marin Halvorsen of Wheaton College won the individual title with a 70 and an 82.
Marian closes out the weekend at the Carroll Invite tomorrow, Sunday, April 18, from Dretzka Park Golf Course.
