Sabre men’s golf finishes sixth at NACC championship

AURORA, Ill. – Marian University men’s golf shot a 310, their lowest round of the NACC championship, to finish in sixth with a total score of 1,290.
Tyler Demeuse built off of his third round and finished par in his fourth round with a 72 to finish 240 in his three rounds. Maxwell Dye and Jake Sherwood each shot a 79 as Dye finished in 19th overall and Sherwood in 22nd. Caleb Martin was one shot off their pace with n 80 to finish in a tie for 24th. Kyle Doyle rounded out the Marian lineup with a 91.
Aurora earned the team title after shooting a team score of 284 in the fourth round, 14 strokes lower than the next best team. JT Hudson of Aurora shot a two-under-par in his final round to earn the individual title by one stroke.
