Sabre cross country runs final tune up before NACC Championships

WATERTOWN, Wis. – Marian University cross country continued their final push of the season competing at the Wisconsin Private College Championships.
A pair of NACC foes led the way on the men’s side of things with Jacob Jodat of WLC running a 25:51.71 for the individual title, while MSOE earned the top spot as a team.
Jacob Leiden led the Sabres with a big race finishing in 18th place with a time of 27:45.94. Next in for the Sabres was Adam Sydow who finished in 34:07.59 with Jarod Silhavy finished in 35:45.14.
For the women, it was Alyse Peters of Edgewood leading the Eagles to first place with a time of 23:56.85.
Alyssa Zuhlke continued her strong running of late finishing in 19th place with a time of 26:17.21. Kayla Gregar also had a strong finish of 40th place with a time of 28:31.85.
Marian takes a week off before heading to Concordia Wisconsin Saturday, Oct. 28 for the NACC Championships.
