FOND DU LAC, Wis. —
Marian University’s men’s hockey team raised a total of $2,145.00 from their annual “Pink Out” game that was held on December 11, 2010.
The check was received by Breast Care Coordinators and Marian alumnae Kay Groeschl, RN, and Lisa Michels, RN, on behalf of Agnesian HealthCare. The check was presented by Marian University’s head men’s hockey coach Jasen Wise and Zach Gaynor, assistant hockey coach.
“Pink Out” was another major success for the Fond du Lac community. This is the fourth year the Marian men’s hockey team organized the event. The money will be donated to Agnesian HealthCare’s Imaging Department, in order to provide mammograms for women who cannot afford to undergo this important screening.
Previous years proceeds have been donated to the Deanna Favre Hope Foundation and to the St. Baldrick’s Children’s Cancer Foundation. The Marian University men’s hockey team has made a commitment to partner with Agnesian HealthCare for their future “Pink Out” games.
