After a storied career at Marian, Nicole Paulus will join the Marian University women’s basketball coaching staff as an assistant coach.

A native of Random Lake, Wis., Paulus played for Marian from 2013 to 2017 and was named All-NACC in 2017. She finished her career ranked 12th in career scoring (1,056 points), 12th in field goals (349), 6th in three-point field goal percentage (.349), 13th in free-throw percentage (.742). As a student-athlete, she coached for Oshkosh Flight Elite during the 2014 and 2015 summer seasons and has run numerous camps for Random Lake High School. She spent her working career at Marian as an Academic Ambassador helping grow the Sabre population one student at a time.

“We are beyond thrilled to have Nicole join the staff,” commented head women’s basketball coach Lyndsey Seewald.  “Her knowledge of the game and experience as a student-athlete at Marian is immeasurable for us and will help immensely while growing our program here at MU. She understands our new culture better than anyone and will help with aiding in our current and future student-athlete’s personal and athletic growth.”

Paulus graduated in 2017 with a degree in exercise sport science and a minor in biology.
