WAUKESHA, Wis. – For the third time this season, sophomore Paige Rauhut (McHenry, Ill.) of Marian University softball has been voted as the NACC Pitcher of the Week announced the league office Monday.
P. Rauhut went 4-1 on the week tossing 32.2 innings as she led Marian to a share of their first NACC title. The sophomore right-hander closed out the week with a 2.57 earned run average, tossed four complete games and tied a single-season Marian record with her third save of the year. She opened the week with her third shutout of the season and tossed a four-hitter against CUC only allowing one run. P. Rauhut also closed out the week with 20 punch outs, including nine against Aurora University.
