Shots on goal were even in the opener with each team sending 29 shots on goal. Fredrik Radbjer was able to open the series stopping 27 of the shots he faced.
Radbjer then stood on his head in the finale as he was able to lead the Sabres to a 3-0 shutout. The senior netminder stopped all 34 shots he faced as Marian ended up outshooting the Cardinals 50-34.

Marian was then able to put together a strong third period where they scored a pair of goals to put the game away.
