Nadler selected as Marian’s Veteran of the Month

Paul Nadler was selected as Marian University’s Veteran of the Month.november-vom

Nadler served in the U.S. Air Force for four years from 2011-2015, and completed a tour in Afghanistan where he served as a security officer. Throughout his military service, Nadler was  active in volunteering on base through preparing and delivering holiday meals, working with his local church on base for goodwill events and a variety of other projects. Nadler is currently pursuing his bachelor’s degree at Marian University, and continues to serve his country with the U.S. Air Force.

The Veteran of the Month contest, presented by Marian University and Sunny 97.7/96.1 WTCX, highlights one area veteran each month. Each veteran chosen receives a plaque, an appreciation package from Marian University and Sunny 97.7’s sponsors, including a 3 credit undergraduate class which can be redeemed in the traditional undergraduate program or any of adult undergraduate sessions. In addition, recipients are honored with a monthly ceremony at Marian University, and have the opportunity to share their story on the radio.

Deserving veterans may be nominated by visiting Marian University will select one veteran at the end of each month.

Marian University was founded in 1936 by the Congregation of Sisters of St. Agnes in Fond du Lac, Wis.
