Muise (Yarmouth, N.S.) was dominant between the pipes in March and helped lead Marian to their first NCHA Harris Cup championship since 2002. For the month, Muise allowed just 11 goals over seven games for a 1.58 goals-against average and a .950 save percentage. After a tough 3-1 loss to CUW to open the month, Muise led Marian to six-straight wins where he only allowed multiple goals in two of those victories. In the final four games of the NCHA Harris Cup playoffs, Muise made at least 30 saves including a season-best 42-save performance in the opener of the championship series against MSOE. He would go on to earn the most valuable player award for the tournament. On the season, Muise finished 11-4-0 with a 2.31 goals-against average to go with a .925 save percentage.
Dreifuerst (Fond du Lac, Wis.) had a strong start to the Sabre season and has proven to be one of the best outside hitters in the NACC. For the month of March, she posted five double-doubles with more than 15 kills in three matches. From the back row, she also had a 22-dig performance in the opener against Lakeland. She currently ranks second in the NACC with a 4.04 kills per set average and is third in the NACC with 4.3 points per set. Dreifuerst also has 81 digs on the season for a 3.52 digs per set average. Her top offensive performance came in the season opener where she had 20 kills against Edgewood. Dreifuerst is the reigning NACC player of the week as well after leading Marian to a sweep of MSOE on the road where she recorded 17 kills in both matches and hit .259 between the two matches.
