NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Senior Samantha Mueller of Marian University women’s bowling has been selected as the CCIW bowler of the week.
Mueller helped lead Sabres to a 3-1 record on Saturday, January 30. She averaged 192 in two traditional games with only two open frames out of 22. In the Baker Format, Mueller had five openings in 30 frames. For the day, her fill percentage for the day on makeable spares was 90 percent. Marian won both of its traditional games including 822-777 against Aurora and 846-650 over Carthage. The Sabres went 1-1 in Baker games including a 906-626 win over Carthage.

Marian has now won the award back-to-back weeks after freshman Alyssa Ritchie earned the inaugural award last week.
The Sabres travel to Lakeshore Lanes in Sheboygan, Wis. for another CCIW Quad Saturday, Feb. 6.
