Meyer voted as NACC player of the week

MILWAUKEE – Senior Sean Meyer of Marian University baseball has been voted as the NACC player of the week, as voted on by the sports information directors of the league.

Meyer (Oconomowoc, Wis.) had a big week at the plate for Marian, hitting 11-of-20 (.550) with four multi-hit games. He also slugged .850 over five games with a double, a triple, and a home run. Mayer drove in five, highlighted by a pair of multiple-RBI games, while also scoring four runs. Three of his runs came in the backend of a doubleheader against Concordia Chicago. Meyer also had a walk-off single to lead the Sabres to a 6-5 win over Dominican.

Marian remains at home to open a series against Wisconsin Lutheran Saturday, April 17 with first pitch scheduled for noon.
