August 6, 2015

Inspiring those who desire to earn a master’s degree, Marian University’s new Master of Science in Organizational Leadership degree is offered both face-to-face and in a 100% online format, and allows working adults the opportunity to complete their degree in a flexible, convenient manner.

The MS in Organizational Leadership program provides an alternative to the traditional MBA for individuals seeking to improve their skills and understanding of business and organizations. The program educates business professionals on ways to increase their leadership skills and enhance the effectiveness of their organization. The program is designed for professionals with work experience who are seeking mid-level, or senior level, leadership or management positions.

“The program meets the needs of contemporary organizations for pragmatic, skilled 21

century leader and managers,” said Dr. Jeffrey G. Reed, dean of the School of Business at Marian.

The program integrates skill development with theory and use of business tools for problem solving, quality and organizational assessments. Through the program, students will develop skills and understanding of risk, strategy, ethics and systems in a contemporary business context. The program culminates with a capstone consulting project that allows students to apply knowledge in an organization.
