MILWAUKEE, Wis. (naccsports.com) — Due to the use on an ineligible player, the Milwaukee School of Engineering women’s soccer team has forfeited its final three games of the season, including two victories in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Women’s Soccer Tournament.
Pursuant to action taken at an emergency meeting of the league’s Directors of Athletics Thursday morning, the schedule for the NACC Tournament has been adjusted with the two teams MSOE defeated in the opening two rounds – sixth-seeded Marian and second-seeded Illinois Tech – being given a reprieve.
Illinois Tech will now host Marian at 7 p.m. Friday evening at Stuart Field in Chicago, with the winner traveling to top-seeded Dominican for the NACC Tournament championship match at 1:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
