Marian University to virtually host Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. community prayer breakfast

Marian University will virtually honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.  during its annual community prayer breakfast and program being held 8am-9am on Monday, Jan. 18, via Zoom.

Featuring a panel discussion that includes Marian University Special Assistant to the President for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Dr. Alonzo Kelly, Student Senate President Brenda Ordonez, and community leader Judy Goldsmith, guests are invited to bring their own cup of coffee, tea or favorite breakfast smoothie to enjoy throughout the event.

The program will also include an opening and closing prayer, a moment of silence for world religions and peace, and the presentation of the 2021 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Spirit Award to the Fondy Food Pantry for going above and beyond in its endeavors related to equality and social justice in the Fond du Lac community.
