Marian University to host Search Warrants, Affidavits and Probable Cause Training

FOND DU LAC, Wis. —Marian University will be hosting the Search Warrants, Affidavits and Probably Cause Training to law enforcement professionals on October 19 and 20 at Marian’s West Allis campus (Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish), 1227 South 116th Street.

Instructed by Lt. Victor Beecher of the Milwaukee Police Department, this two-day scenario-based program is designed to provide investigators an understanding of the practical application of search and seizure law, as well as experience in writing search warrants based on actual criminal investigations. Participants will be challenged to critically evaluate criminal investigations in order to properly apply search and seizure law and articulate elements sufficient to establish probable cause with the intended purpose of obtaining search warrants.

This 16-hour training session is $125 and is geared exclusively towards law enforcement professionals. To register online, please go to and complete the registration form.
