Marian University to host Martin Luther King Jr. Community Prayer Breakfast, Jan. 19

FOND DU LAC, Wis. – Marian University will host its annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Prayer Breakfast on Monday, January 19, 2015 from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. in the Sodexo Dining Room in the Stayer Center. 

The program will feature a keynote speaker, musical performance and the presentation of the 2015 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Spirit Award. 

Honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. has been a tradition of Marian University and the Fond du Lac community. Together, we reflect how his dreams continue to provide inspiration, as this is a day of interracial and intercultural sharing. 

This event is open to the public; however, registration is requested. The cost is $15 for an individual or $100 for a table of eight. The deadline for registration is January 5, 2015. 

Participants attending the breakfast are asked to bring a non-perishable food items to the breakfast. All items will be given to the Fond du Lac Food Pantry.
