FOND DU LAC, Wis. – As a part of continuing their education, the Marian University Office of Residence Life staff and resident assistants will be taking part in the Drunk Busters Program on Thursday, September 27.

The Drunk Busters Program focuses on assisting groups in learning about consequences associated with driving while intoxicated. The presentation is designed to show how impairment reduces one’s alertness and reaction time, problems with depth perception and coordination and how alcohol and drug abuse leads to poor judgement and decision making.

Through the hands-on, interactive workshop, Program Director Curt Kindschuh, a former law enforcement agent, will assist the Marian University Office of Residence Life staff in implementing a Drunk Busters program in both the Marian and Fond du Lac communities.

The Drunk Busters of America program was established by Kindschuh in 1995, and has served countries around the world in educating themselves on the impact of drunk driving.
