Marian University professor earns Wisconsin Nurses Association award

 FOND DU LAC, Wis. – The Wisconsin Nurses Association (WNA) has named Nancy Noble, professor at Marian University, the recipient of the 2012 Excellence in Nursing Education Award.

“It is an honor to have Professor Noble as part of our nursing faculty,” said Dr. Julie Luetschwager, dean of the School of Nursing and Health Professions. “Her award showcases the dedication to nursing education we strive for here at Marian University.”

The recipient of the Wisconsin Nurses Association Excellence in Nursing Education has demonstrated extraordinary contributions to excellence in nursing education for students and to the development and implementation of continuing education.

“I am honored to receive this reward. I have a passion for the profession of nursing and nursing education,” said Noble. “I consistently strive for excellence and challenge students to learn and grow personally and professionally to become caring and competent nursing professionals.”

Noble received the award at the 2012 WNA Convention and Annual Meeting held in Stevens Point on October 20.
