Marian softball to offer high school elite camp

Marian University softball has announced a high school elite camp for Saturday, Dec. 7 at Lenz Fieldhouse.

The Sabre softball program will be offering three sessions; pitching and catching, hitting, and defense.  Campers can attend any or all of the sessions with cost depending on which sessions you attend.  The pitching and catching camp opens the day, catchers will be provided for pitchers, from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with the hitting session to follow at 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.  The defensive session closes out the day from 2:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.  Every participant will be required to bring their own glove, tennis shoes, cleats, bat and batting helmet.  No spikes or street shoes will be allowed to be worn for any drills that are held in Lenz Fieldhouse.

Check-in will be held 20 minutes prior to the beginning of each session in Lenz Fieldhouse with walk-in registration only being accepted if a camp is not full.  Registrations will only be accepted through the mail with no phone or fax registrations being accepted.
