FOND DU LAC, Wis. –
Marian University recently received approval for its Quality Initiative Report, as part of the Open Pathways accreditation process through the Higher Learning Commission.
Two initiatives guided the Quality Initiative Report: Marian’s work in establishing the Center for Instructional and Organizational Development (CIOD) and the implementation of sustainable systems that support the continuous improvement of student and organizational learning.
“The Higher Learning Commission has recognized the seriousness of this undertaking, the significance and scope of this work, and its impact on the University. We are very proud of the strides we have made towards continuous improvement in the areas of student and institutional learning,” said Dr. Sheryl Ayala, interim vice president for academic affairs. “These initiatives, essential, but at the same time challenging, are being realized through the hard work of many dedicated faculty and staff here at Marian University.”
