Due to current snow and field conditions, the Marian University men’s lacrosse game scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, February 27, has been moved to Canlan Sportsplex in Barrington, Ill.
The game will be played indoors with the start time bumped up to 1 p.m. Due to the facility change, live video for the event will not be available but live stats can be found at http://sabreathletics.com/sports/mlax/2018-19/boxscores/20190227_z3kc.xml. Marian looks to build off a season-opening victory over Carroll over the weekend, while the game will serve as the season opener for Dubuque. Last season, Dubuque defeated the Sabres in a low scoring 6-3 game.
The address for the Canlan Sportsplex is 28156 W Northpointe Pkwy, Barrington, IL 60010. More information on the facility can be found at https://canlansports.com/lakebarrington/home.aspx.
The next game on the docket between Marian and Northland, scheduled for Saturday, March 2, has also been postponed with a make-up date yet to be announced. The Sabres new home opener date is scheduled for Wednesday, March 6 when Marian hosts Benedictine in MLC action.
