MILWAUKEE – Marian University cross country returned to action after a long break at the WLC Warrior Invite.
Sophomore Alyssa Zuhlke provided the highlight of the meet finishing in 14th place with a time of 25:40.79, a career-best. Junior Kayla Gregar was next in on the women’s side crossing the finish line in 28:05.10.
On the men’s side, junior Jacob Leiden paced the Sabres finishing in 54th with a time of 29:43.51. Freshman Traevion Donley was next across with a 35:35.92, while fellow freshman Jarod Sihavy wasn’t far behind coming in at 36:36.27. Sophomore Adam Sydow was the final MU runner finishing in 37:55.17.
Marian travels to the Gene Davis Invitational, hosted by Lawrence University, Saturday, Oct. 7.
