MEQUON, Wis. – Marian University cross country traveled to Concordia Wisconsin where the Sabres competed in the Ken Weidt Classic.
St. Norbert took home the team title on the men’s side, while Josh Janusiak of Lawrence took home the individual title with a time of 25:53.0.
Junior Jacob Leiden led the Sabre men finishing in 38th place with a time of 30:26.9. Freshman Traevion Donley followed finishing with a time of 33:08.2, while Adam Sydow crossed the line at 37:09.7. Jarod Silhavy closed out the Marian men with a time of 39:37.8.
The St. Norbert women completed the sweep of the Ken Weidt Classic with Patricia Harrison of Moody Bible crossing the line first at 22:54.3. Sophomore Alyssa Zuhlke led the Sabre women finishing in 62nd with a time of 27:59.4.
Marian has a lengthy break before they travel to the WLC Warrior Invite at Greenfield Park Saturday, Sept. 30.
