Due to the current status of the CoVID-19 pandemic, Marian University and Sabre athletics have made the decision to move the 2021 Hall of Fame and Alumni Ceremony to Saturday, April 30.

“Due to the current restrictions that are in place with hosting indoor events, we feel we cannot conduct a ceremony to appropriately honor our Hall of Fame inductees and alumni award winners,” said Director of Athletics Jason Bartelt.  “We are moving the event to spring in hopes of having a more robust celebration for our 2021 Hall of Fame Class.”

Marian athletics recently announced the ceremony will celebrate and induct Ann Felker, Kristin (Englebert) Huerkens, the 2000 Marian baseball team, and the 2000 Marian softball team into the Marian athletics Hall of Fame.  The ceremony will also include all alumni awards presented by Marian University.  The full release about the Hall of Fame Class of 2021 can be found at https://marian.prestosports.com/general/2021-22/releases/20210707jj7lac.  Any current registrations have been refunded and will need to register again closer to the event date.  Any questions, comments, or concerns can be directed to Dan Mueller at drmueller45@marianuniversity.edu.

The annual Korbie Classic to be held Friday, September 24 is currently still scheduled as planned from Whispering Springs Golf Course.  To register for the Korbie Classic please visit https://www.marianuniversity.edu/2021-korbie-classic-registration/.

Marian University continues to encourage everyone to do their part in stopping the ongoing pandemic by getting vaccinated, practicing social distancing, and masking whenever social distancing is not possible.
