ST. PAUL, Minn. – Freshman defenseman Hannah Koniar earned a spot on the D3Hockey.com Team of the Week after netting the game-winning goal against St. Norbert to put the Sabres in the Slaats Cup Playoffs.
Koniar’s big goal came with under five minutes remaining in the third period and answered a Green Knight goal that came just 1:43 earlier. The Milwaukee, Wis. native finished the regular season with three goals and three assists for six points.
