Klotz (Farmington, Minn.) continued to lead the Sabre offense producing a 13-point week as Marian fell to Benedictine University before defeating Concordia University Chicago. The rookie midfielder had a three-point game against the Eagles before putting together a 10-point game against the Cougars. Against CUC, Klotz netted four goals and added six assists as Marian earned its first conference win in program history.
Klotz has already proven himself as a top scorer not only for the Sabres but in the conference. The Sabre midfielder leads the conference with 52 points on the year and is second with 24 assists and third in the MLC with 28 goals.
Marian hits the road traveling to Aurora for a 1 p.m. start Saturday, April 7 in MLC action.
