Jurney (Germantown, Wis.) paced the Sabre offense for the month as Marian went on to win three non-conference matches. For the month, Jurney led the team with 92 kills over 26 sets for a 3.54 kills per set average and posted a team-best 10 service aces. He also made his presence known in the back row recording the second-most digs on the team in the month with 69 digs or a 2.65 digs per set average. At the net, Jurney had a hand in six blocks with one being a solo block. Jurney posted a pair of double-doubles in the month and recorded double-digit kills in six of seven matches during February. Against Maranatha Baptist, he posted a career-high 20 kills and had a career-high 18 digs against Concordia Wisconsin as part of a double-double with 14 kills.
Johnson (Racine, Wis.) closed out her career at Marian with a strong month of February. She had an impact in nearly every aspect of the game finishing the month with 43 points and just as many rebounds with a team-best 13 offensive boards. Johnson was also able to record 10 assists to go with eight steals and two blocks on the defensive end of the court. When the Sabres defeated Rockford Johnson was able to record 14 points off of 6-8 (.750) shooting with two steals and a pair of blocks. She also posted a strong performance against Alverno where she grabbed a career-high 13 rebounds with two assists and two steals.
