DULUTH, Minn. – Junior Dylan Hutton of Marian University men’s hockey has been named the NCHA offensive player of the week, as announced by the league office Tuesday.
Hutton (Ajax, Ont.) led the Marian offense as the Sabres went 2-0 in non-conference action last week including a win over then-ranked No. 6 UW-Stevens Point. Hutton opened the weekend with the first multi-goal game of his Sabre career to lead Marian past UWSP, tying the game at 1-1 after MU fell in an early hole while also making it 3-1 in the second period. He followed that up with a third-period goal against Bethel while also assisting the game-winner in the 4-0 victory.
