MILWAUKEE – Senior Erik Horman has been selected as the NACC Offensive Player of the Week for a second straight week.
Horman (Appleton, Wis.) recorded a career-high 12 points as Marian defeated Mount St. Joseph. Horman scored nine goals, with four of his goals coming while Marian was a man-up, and added three assists in the victory over the Lions. He also recorded five ground balls in the victory and had multiple caused turnovers for a second straight game. Through the first three games of the season, not including the Spalding game from Monday, Horman ranks third in the nation with 8.0 points per game and is 10th in the country averaging 5.0 goals per game. His seven man-up goals leads all scorers in the nation.
