Students learn about data mining, visualization, descriptive statistics, budgeting, forecasting, cost controls, profit and loss analytics, and business results.

Strategic Health Care
Students learn the principles, theories, concepts, methods, techniques, skills, competencies, values, and viewpoints needed to resolve workplace issues. Other topics include Management in the Community and Management Prioritization.
Topics include Managed Care and Health Insurance.
Students learn the relationship between healthcare quality and organizational performance management, management’s impact on patient safety, and future trends in both quality and safety.
Legal Aspects of Healthcare Administration
Topics covered include HIPAA, Ethics, and Tort Law; Contracts, Malpractice and Liability Laws; and Employee Discipline, Discharge, and Corporate Structure.
Students engage in a field-based exploration of a specific major work-related project or initiative that is team-based or project-based and accomplish a pre-determined and agreed-upon goal. There are three phases: creation, implementation, and evaluation.
