MILWAUKEE – Junior Paris Harris (Hammond, Ind.) has been named to the All-NACC honorable mention team becoming the first Marian women’s basketball student-athlete to earn all-conference recognition since the 2016-17 season.
Harris led the Sabres in most categories for the entire season to earn the first all-conference selection of her career. She averaged a team-best 12.0 points per game during the season and proved to be a threat from anywhere on the court finishing with 52 made field goals and ranking eighth in the NACC with 18 made three-pointers, a single-season high for her. Harris also went on to average 6.3 rebounds per game this season with 10 steals, nine assists, and three blocks. During the season, she posted double-digit points in eight of 12 games with five games where she scored at least 15 points. Harris opened the season with double-digit points in the first four games of the season including a season-best 21 points in the opener of a road series at Edgewood. In the post, she grabbed at least seven rebounds in six games missing a double-double by just one rebound in the opener against Lakeland.
