MILWAUKEE – Senior Paris Harris of Marian University women’s basketball has earned her second all-conference selection being named to the second team.

Harris (Hammond, Ind.) becomes the first Sabre women’s basketball student-athlete to earn back-to-back all-conference selections since Alexis Becker in 2011 and 2012.  She ranked sixth in the NACC averaging 13.3 points per game and was eighth in the conference with 7.4 rebounds per game.  Harris cemented herself into the Marian record books grabbing the sixth-most rebounds of any Sabre with 546 in her career.

Harris had four performances of at least 20 points during the season scoring a season-high 26 points in a pair of Marian victories.  She also went on to post five double-doubles on the season.  One of her best performances of the season came at home where the Sabres defeated Lakeland 66-62 to snap an 11-game losing streak to the Muskies.  Harris scored a game-high 18 rebounds with 17 defensive rebounds in the victory.
